Our network is based in the Equinix LD8 / Telecity Harbour Exchange (HEX) facility in Docklands, London. This is a high end data center at the heart of the UK's Internet connectivity. The facility includes N+1 power and cooling redundancy and fire suppression systems. We utilise a highly scalable and redundant network which includes Internet Exchange Point (LoNAP) and London Internet Exchange (LINX) connectivity.
We use the latest generation Dell & HP server and blade hardware for all of our servers. We never use cheap or unbranded equipment. All important hardware replacement parts are kept on site and we maintain a solid SLA with these hardware providers who have engineers on standby. All servers storage is run on large SSD RAID arrays. This gives us a high level of redundancy with instant failover of failed hard drives.
We have systems in place to constantly monitor the health of all of our infrastructure. If any issue occurs then technicians and engineers are deployed to resolve the problem. Clients with our Enterprise packages or custom hardware solutions have their services constantly monitored from multiple locations all over the world. If any error occurs our technicians are alerted within seconds.
All clients data is backed up on a daily basis with various schedules kept in case of data loss. All data is backed up to local and remote off-site data stores. Clients may request restores of website or database data at no additional cost. You can create and download compressed backups of web space and databases on-demand in our control panel.
In order to meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements and keep information assets secure the data center has a number of ISO certifications.
